Our goal is to provide a comprehensive learning experience that equips our students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the tech industry. By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with our Terms & Conditions. These terms outline the rules and regulations for the use of Foundry AI Academy's Website.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF FOUNDRY AI ACADEMY
DEFINITIONS

"The Academy" refers to Cong ty TNHH FoundryAI Việt Nam, a company registered in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with a registered address of Tòa Central 2, 720A Điện Biên Phủ, Phường 22, Bình Thạnh, Hồ Chí Minh 700000, Vietnam.

"Trainee" refers to any individual enrolled in a training program at The Academy.

"Module" refers to a distinct segment of the training program, usually assessed through an end examination.
-
"Class" refers to a session conducted as part of a training program.
-
"Training Materials" refers to all educational content provided by The Academy.
-
"Premises" refers to the physical locations of The Academy.
-
"Admissions Team" refers to The Academy’s team responsible for enrolment and payment agreements.
-
"Cohort" refers to a group of Trainees who begin and progress through a training program together.
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Academy provides a structured and immersive training program spanning 17 consecutive weeks, designed to equip Trainees with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of Data and AI Engineering. The curriculum is carefully crafted and delivered by seasoned industry professionals with expertise in relevant domains.
The training program comprises a blend of:

Theoretical instruction to establish fundamental and advanced technical knowledge.

Hands-on practical exercises to reinforce learning through real-world applications.
-
Homework assignments to encourage self-study and skill development.

Examinations at the end of each module to assess competency and progress.
-
Optional group work as determined by authorized Academy professionals to foster collaboration and problem-solving skills.
The Academy offers training in both on-premise and online formats, with delivery methods and schedules determined at the discretion of The Academy. To ensure continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards, The Academy reserves the right to make adjustments to the training curriculum at any time to best serve the evolving needs of each cohort.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 Payment Structure

Tuition fees are structured on a monthly payment basis.

Payments must be made via bank transfer only to the designated account provided by The Academy.
-
The first installment must be paid at least 3-5 days before the course start date, and subsequent monthly payments must be made before the next month begins to maintain enrollment.
2.2 No-Refund Policy
-
All payments made to The Academy are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, dismissal, or failure to attend classes.

Trainees are responsible for ensuring timely payments. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.
2.3 Late or Missed Payments
-
Late payments may incur penalties or access restrictions to course materials and Academy resources.
-
Failure to make the agreed monthly payment or maintain satisfactory academic performance may result in suspension or termination from the course.
2.4 Special Considerations
-
Any exceptions to these terms must be requested in writing and are subject to approval by The Academy’s administration.
3. TERMINATION POLICY
3.1 Termination by the Trainee
-
If a Trainee wishes to voluntarily leave the course, the Trainee must email admissions@foundry.academy, cc to chau@foundry.academy. All fees payable up to and including the module the trainee is undertaking at that time remain payable.

There is no obligation to pay fees for future modules.
3.2 Termination by The Academy
The Academy reserves the right to terminate a Trainee at any time if one or more of the following conditions are met:

The Trainee fails to attend at least 60% of classes during any given module.
-
The Trainee fails to pass the end examination of any given module.
-
The Trainee is deemed unable to keep up with the curriculum.
-
The Trainee’s behaviour is deemed disruptive to the class.
Upon termination, all fees payable up to and including the current module remain due, and all intellectual property belonging to The Academy must be returned.
4. ACCESS TO PREMISES
-
Trainees are allowed access to The Academy’s premises only during pre-agreed office hours.
-
The Academy reserves the right to refuse access to its premises at any time.
5. TRAINING PREREQUISITES
-
Trainees must pass all entry-level exams with a satisfactory result.
-
Trainees must have a portable computer in good working condition, with WiFi access, at least 8GB of RAM, and Python compatibility for versions 3.10 and beyond.

Trainees must have an acceptable command of the English language.
6. DOCUMENT RETENTION
-
The Academy retains communications, orders, and invoices on a reliable medium as required by law.
-
Such documents may serve as proof of contract.
-
A digital invoice will be provided upon request. Please email admissions@foundry.academy to request one.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RIGHTS
-
The Academy is the sole owner of all course materials, software, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property.
-
Trainees are granted a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to use training materials for a period of six (6) months.
-
No part of the training materials may be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without express written consent from The Academy.
8. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF IMAGE AND VOICE
-
The Trainee authorizes The Academy to use their image and voice for recordings or promotional materials.
-
Consent is valid indefinitely and worldwide but may be withdrawn by emailing contact@foundry.academy.
-
The Academy will remove the concerned image or video, subject to limitations on previously published materials.
9. LIABILITY & WARRANTY
-
The Academy is not liable for interruptions due to external causes or Internet issues.
-
The Academy is not responsible for any force majeure events, including acts of third parties beyond its control.
-
The Academy does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of its digital platforms and services.
-
The Trainee is responsible for any false declarations and their conduct within The Academy.
-
The Academy is not liable for damages caused by the Trainee’s misuse of its services or intellectual property.
10. CERTIFICATION & WORK PLACEMENT
10.1 Certificate of Completion
-
The Academy will issue an official Certificate of Completion to each Trainee who successfully fulfills all course requirements, including the completion of all training modules and passing the relevant examinations.
-
The Certificate of Completion serves as a recognition of the Trainee’s successful participation but does not guarantee employment or professional qualification under any regulatory body.
10.2 Work Placement Assistance
-
The Academy is committed to supporting Trainees in transitioning to the workforce and will make reasonable efforts to assist successful graduates in securing a work placement.

Assistance may include guidance on job applications, resume reviews, interview preparation, and access to The Academy’s professional network.
-
The Academy does not, however, guarantee employment or placement opportunities and holds no responsibility for a Trainee’s success in obtaining a job.
11. GENERAL PROVISIONS
11.1 Entire Agreement

These General Conditions constitute the full agreement between The Academy and the Trainee.
11.2 Amendments
-
The Academy reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
-
Material changes will be communicated via email and website notification.
11.3 Dispute Resolution & Mediation
-
In case of a dispute, the Trainee must first contact The Academy’s customer service at contact@foundry.academy.
-
If unresolved within ten (10) days, mediation will be offered.
-
Mediation is optional, and parties may accept or reject the mediator’s decision.
11.4 Governing Law
-
These General Conditions are governed by Vietnamese law.
11.5 Waiver & Severability
-
Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
-
If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
These terms and conditions are effective as of 10th March 2025 and apply to all Trainees enrolled at Foundry AI Academy.
